Inscribed by Shange to the Carter family on one of the first interior pages. Book is in excellent condition. Used, but no major imperfections. 225 pages. Published by Shameless Hussy Press.

About: Ntozake Shange is an American playwright and poet. As a self-proclaimed black feminist, she addresses issues relating to identity, race and womanhood in much of her work. “Sassafrass, Cypress & Indigo” is Ntozake Shange’s first published novel.
