Our Philosophy
BLK MKT Vintage is a curated love story, created by Jannah and Kiyanna Handy. Our motivation to build a collection that mirrors multifarious Black cultural expression is rooted in our love for Black people, Black culture and our own lived experiences. We approach our work as cultural historians and encourage you to join us in bringing history & antiquity into your everyday lives.
Our work includes curating a robust e-commerce shop, interior styling, prop rental/set design, exhibition loans and other special curatorial-based projects that center the relationship between Black people, material culture, memory and the contemporary. In other words, Sankofa.

BLK MKT Vintage Interiors celebrates the meeting of our pasts, presents and aspirational futures with layered & narrative-driven design. As interior stylists and environmental curators, BLK MKT Vintage Interiors centers vintage/antique objects in a
collaborative effort to craft residential spaces that reflect the lived experiences of Black folks across the diaspora. We offer interior styling for residential + commercial spaces and set styling & prop/costume rental for production needs.
