Description: Vintage Rare "People’s Gay Sunshine" newspaper in good condition, featuring a black and white photograph of James Baldwin holding a young child on the cover. Below the image, a quote from Baldwin reads: "The moment we cease to hold each other, the moment we break faith with one another, the sea engulfs us and the light goes out." Issue has al pages in tact. Heavy bi-fold crease and toning across the cover - where it was historically holded and stored. See photos for overall condition. 

About: "People’s Gay Sunshine" is an underground gay liberation newspaper and  alternative press publication dedicated to radical queer politics, activism, and social justice. Emerging from the broader Gay Liberation movement of the 1970s, People s Gay Sunshine took a distinctly leftist and revolutionary stance, advocating for socialism, collective organizing, and direct action in the fight for LGBTQ rights.
