Description: Vintage pinback buttons to commemorate the 1981 Washington, DC march for the establishment of a national holiday for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Diameter is 3” with a  few areas of discoloration and rusting on the back side. Overall in very good condition.

About: These pins were distributed at the 1981 march and rally in Washington on Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday, Jan. 15, 1981, which made the holiday possible. Read more about the march and it’s contribution to our national commemoration here.
