About: The Atlanta Child Murders refer to a two-year period where at least 28 children, adolescents, and adults were killed in Atlanta. Most of the victims were black boys and the murders incited community engagement, fear and outrage. Wayne Williams, a black man, was convicted and community members/celebrities/activists wore green pins and ribbons to demonstrate solidarity with the victims and their communities.
